ASU First! is more than just a concept. It’s intentional. It’s what those of us in ASU’s Student Media, Student Media Creative Services, and the ASU Print & Imaging Lab see as not only an obligation to seek out resources within the ASU community first, but to be a resource to others as well.

One of the ways in which we can fulfill this mandate is to provide a service to others in their effort to better communicate through a wide array of media and creativity. Even more important is our own internal obligation. To help train future media professionals... our students. Both Student Media and the Print & Imaging Lab engage students in paid and internship positions which, with the assistance and direction of professional staff, provides them with a hands-on, “real world” experience in design, printing, sales, marketing, video production, and other multimedia-related interests.
